Step 1: Select Unique Name: The Applicant must select a Unique Name of the Society which should indicate the Nature of work that the society will be performing. One must ensure that the name is not deceptively similar or identical to another incorporated Society/Corporate body.
Step 2: Draft the Memorandum of Association: Now, each member of the Society must sign the Memorandum with the Rules and Regulations of the Society. It should be witnessed by Notary Public, Chartered Accountant, Oath Commissioner, Gazetted Officer, First Class Magistrate or Advocate with their official stamp and complete address.
Step 3: Prepare other Necessary Documents: After Drafting of MOA and Rules and Regulations the Next step is attaching Relevant Documents with the Application. Such as Copy of PAN card, Residence Proof of all the Members, a covering Letter, NOC from the Owner of the Land, Copy of Address proof where the Registered Office of the Society is situated and a Declaration from the president of the Society.
Step 4: Documentation with the Concerned Registrar: Once you have prepared all the documents, submit them to the concerned Registrar of your State along with the Filing fee. If the Registrar feels that your provided information is valid, then he will declare your Society as registered.
